Stupidity Is Important In Life

There comes a time in everyone’s life when you finally realize that you aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed. If you have a philosophical bend you can express it as wondering if you are naturally stupid or do you have to work at it?? Anyway even the most careful of us sometimes live life on the edge. Today was one of those days!! I took a cracked tea cup out of the cupboard and filled it with hot tea this morning. This was my start of living life on the edge for today. I started to drink it and all of a sudden the tea cup finished cracking and spilled its’ contents into private parts that won’t be discussed in this blog!! Have you often noticed in your own life that some of the best things in life are discovered through stupidity??? For instance Goodyear discovered the vulcanization of rubber when he spilled some concoction on the stove. Someone else invented Velcro after he stupidly walked through nettles and they stuck to his pants. I suspect that stupidity is just another form of deterioration. Everything that has to do with life deteriorates over time. The prime example is that we all get older. I bet even in your own life you have done something stupid and benefited from it.
