Three Revolutions

The first revolution was hunting / agricultural. The accent was on food production and most of the people lived on the farms or the large farming estates of the landowners. The surrounding towns and cities were centers of trade, where you could buy and sell. Transportation was by either horse, stagecoach or horse and wagon. The distance you could travel without preparing to go on a trip was the distance a horse could travel which was about 25 miles if you expected to be back home in 24 hours. The basic source of energy in the agricultural world was fire which was used for cooking, heating and the making of tools. Communication was by personal contact or delivered letter or newspaper by horseback, sailing vessel or through the post office. The next revolution was the industrial revolution. The connection of agricultural fire to the heating of water in an iron or steel vessel from which useful work could be performed or otherwise called the steam engine was the basis of the industrial revolution. The first steam engine was large and bulky and could only be used in industrial plants. As the steam engine became smaller wheels were added and the steam locomotive was born. Small steam engines were added to marine vessels which traveled faster than the old sailing vessels. People could now travel further and in greater comfort, so they went further. Other engines were developed that ran on different fuels so you got cars, trucks, and airplanes. Machinery was developed and built which lead to manufactured products. These products required sales to be made which meant customers had to be found in far off places. People moved to the towns and cities because the industrial centers offered steady work at a higher pay than could be earned on the farms. Initially there were no safety nets in the industrial world, but as soon as it was realized that industrial production required a stable workforce unions, medical plans and other industrial supports were developed. The industrial revolution required improved methods so you saw the development of telephones, radios, and electrical appliances. Most of us living now are still experiencing the industrial revolution which has largely matured. The final revolution is the software revolution. Software is the material from which we construct all the electronic tools, entertainment and artificial intelligence. In the days of the agricultural revolution it was plants including trees which we modified genetically to create new plants and trees for beauty and construction. If you're a gardener or work with wood you will know what I mean. The industrial revolution required that everything be concentrated in one location. This meant the concentration of people in cities around factories and transportation hubs such as railways, highways and airports. Plant genetics in the agricultural age was converted to metallurgy which is the modification of found and man made materials for construction and aesthetics in the industrial age. Machines, the assembly line and standardized production in the industrial age freed up time for personal pursuits compared to the agricultural age which required almost 100% of the time to be devoted to food production in order to survive. The earliest form of software was mathematics. Mathematics allowed you to calculate results before building. An example of this type of mathematics was in kitchen design where a bad measurement can cause you grief and ongoing frustration. The next development in mathematics was the invention of formulas and methods of manipulation. The manipulation of mathematical formulas lead to insight into nuclear energy and the design of the universe as seen through the work of Einstein. Another form of early software was language. Language is used for communication, ideas and emotions. Most people's software is in the form of language when compared to mathematics which is difficult to understand in depth unless your brain is wired in that direction. Software in the industrial age is also in the form of gears, levers, springs and motors which permit a machine to consistently and constantly perform a function. A watch is an example of this phenomena. Software has now evolved into a series of predominately linear instructions in a module or frame which is coupled to a standardized machine such as a computer which has outputs to devices such as printers or more esoteric devices.. An example of early software involving linear instructions is the common cooking recipe. Initially software was completely linear but now it has been developed into modules. Modules are like building bricks that can be arranged in any form, design or use for building and aesthetic construction. Software combined with wireless communication has allowed people to move away from concentrated environments such as cities and workplaces. Software has freed up even more time, which has lead to multitasking. Instant this and that have caused social and business changes. The global village has become all the earth and artificial demarcations such as nations, cities, cultures and controls are starting to melt away. If nations or businesses can't compete intellectually or economically, people can go elsewhere in the electronic environment. New social mores are being developed because sometimes we don't have the advantage of visual communication clues. Hence the development of emotion cons and capitals to emphasize emotion and moods. Since we don't have to be physically present, virtual reality with avatars are being used for virtual meetings to give formally absent visual clues so our lack of manners won't ruin careers. Biologically speaking, organisms over the eons have adapted themselves to changing environments in order to survive. Perhaps our brains will start to rewire for multitasking and the intellectual thinking challenges of the new software age. All I know is that we are on the edge of something exciting and thought provoking.

Just A Thought

Most people only use Time as an event marker as in "Such and such happened here". Since Time only moves outward in only one direction, it seems to me that it only has one dimension. Physically, we all move outward. We can’t move backward in Time except through memory. Memory is very unique. If we were particularly close / in love with someone and he / she are now gone, our memory glamorizes his / her virtues and ignores / forgets the downsides / history of the relationship. Frequently, we go through a litany of would of’s, could of’s and should of’s. All completely normal. The downside of all this reverse emoting is that the grieving person is more interested in penance for some perceived indiscretion, stupidity on their part. Whether or not any indiscretion or stupidity on their part did in fact exist is a mute point. Perhaps the now gone person pulled the plug on the relationship through their own stupidity, but you and I inherit the guilt because God / Fickle Finger Of Fate moved that person permanently and physically away from our reach. Life is full of all kinds of choices and paths. Most of our choices and paths are accidental.. While we can make a conscious decision to go in one direction, there is no guarantee our choice is right in terms of benefits. Perhaps most of our life’s paths aren’t all that great because the universe cycles through order, chaos, resurrection / redemption. Sometimes God drafts us into something for her purpose and isn’t exactly thrilled when our choices cause her a gigantic headache. I sense that sometimes God gets so vexed at what we’ve done, that she removes the impediment so we can get on with the things God wants us to do during our life. Just a thought!!!.

Positive Thoughts, Frames, Triangles & Balance

We, and everything in this universe exists in a series of individual triangles whose sides are one side of a Time, Gravity or Space Frame. Our chief function, among other things, is to maintain a balance between all three frames. We do this juggling act by maintaining our life in balance. A space frame provides us with dimensions in which to exist. A gravity frame’s function is to hold us / things in place. A time frame’s function is to provide a future and room for us to grow. As time moves forward, stresses / distortions appear in the triangles in the form of changes such as aging, deterioration, randomness or chaos. This happens because energy is taken out of the time frame to expand the universe thereby providing us with a future. This removal of energy causes the time side of the triangle to distort which, in turn causes us and everything else to loose its’ balance / position in the center of the triangle. We must therefore readjust our position / balance within the triangle. Sometimes, we cause our own stresses by obsessing over some problem causing a greater distortion than usual. The key to balance in our personal triangle is to control the surrounding energy fields by thinking positive thoughts at every opportunity.

Life By Exception

Learning is complicated. Let’s take the study of Statistics for example. If you know nothing about statistics, you first have to learn the words and their meaning. Usually, the book is filled with diagrams because some people learn visually. The book’s words are important because some people learn aurally. Statistic books are loaded with examples to give you an idea about how the diagrams / words are used to solve problems. There are also illustrations of exceptions to the statistical patterns. After thinking about it for awhile it suddenly occurred to me that everything around us is based on patterns. While you can argue that the essence of life can be many things, it seems to me patterns should be on that list. Patterns aren’t static. They evolve over time. God / whatever designed this universe on basic patterns that have the capacity to evolve over time. She did it that way, because our brains only have the capacity to notice exceptions. You can argue that people are creative, but they are only creative in simplistic ways. They are not creative in complex ways. For instance the development of the atomic bomb during WW11 took many creative people working in teams along with support staff solving relatively minute parts of the puzzle. Pattern evolution applies to everything. Language evolved. For instance the word "gay" is a word that has an entirely different meaning to what it meant 40 - 60 years ago. You and I evolve in many ways. For instance all of us age, which is essentially an evolution of a pattern commonly known as appearance. If you go down the street, thinking of nothing / looking at nothing in particular, you will only notice something if the pattern is different / broken. You and I try to stand out in our work. That is breaking a pattern. If you decorate your home, you try for something unique which is breaking a pattern. Therefore my readers, life is patterns and our management of our lives is noticing exceptions or in essence Life By Exception!!!

Patterns

Excluding time, we all live in three dimensional space and everything in our three dimensional space involves three primary things like our 3 dimensions length , width and height. Particles, strings and frames are the basic names for everything that exists in our universe. Particles are us. Strings are energy. Frames are our patterns. Patterns can be our personality / behavior. Imagine writing a report for work. You start out with a blank page / frame to fill with particles ( letters / numbers ) to make sentences ( strings of energy conveying ideas (force)) within a frame ( pattern - introduction, middle, end ). In life everything cycles through order, chaos, restoration / resurrection. You start with a first draft. Order begins in your mind and you start to type. The more you type chaos rears its’ ugly head. First it is limited because you start with typos. Next your facile ideas start to disintegrate because you suddenly think of this or that exception. Resurrection / restoration has begun. Finally order is successfully restored when particles / strings / frames all come together in the ultimate pattern!!!! That, my friends / readers is the essence of life!!!!

Organized Fumbling

God ain’t interested in doing a lot of unnecessary / repetitive work so here is one of her designs so you and I can fumble our way through life without bothering her!!! All living things have a Soul. All inanimate things have a Spirit. Life is built on patterns. We mange our lives by looking for exceptions to the patterns. If you don’t believe me try writing down / keeping a mental note of why you notice something. Many years ago there used to be a management philosophy called Management By Exception. Little did the proponents realize they were talking about one of the fundamentals of life.

Wrong Headed

There is something wrong headed about life!!! You’re born young, forced to work like crazy to accumulate, then spend like crazy, worry that you’re going to outlive your money, deteriorate over time, get old, stupider than usual and then finally die. All very depressing.!!! It seems to me, after careful and thoughtful consideration, that whomever or whatever runs this universe got her / its’ directions confused!! Now it would seem to me, as an unsophisticated struggler in this life that things would be better going in reverse.

Let’s see:

You start out dead and get that out of the way.

You wake up in an old age home feeling better every day.

You get kicked out for being too healthy. Enjoy your retirement and collect your pension.

You start work, you get a gold watch on your first day as a kind of incentive to do well and be successful.

You work 40 years until you're too young to work.

You go to High School, drink alcohol, party, study sex in class disguised as "health education" and chase girls.

You graduate into primary school, forget about sex, girls, become a kid, play and have no responsibilities.

Graduate primary school as a baby educated and prepared for a life of pooping with no further education or education expense required. Also servants readily available and price - less at your beck and call.

Your last 9 months are spent floating peacefully in luxury, in spa-like conditions, with central heating, room service, no worries and no bills!!

You finish off as a highly pleasant orgasm.

Duck Theory

We all live in Slices Of Now. Past is memory, which cannot be changed so pan out the good like gold and forget the grit which will only rub you the wrong way!!! Future is random, and will do what it will do, so chill. Just don’t forget that ½ the stuff you worry about ain’t going to happen and the other ½ which is coming anyway is seldom foreseen!!! Just don’t forget the Duck Theory of Life. Calm on surface, paddle like hell underneath. If you require the equivalent of bicycle training wheels, a paddle may be handy!!!

Hey, Don’t Forget!!!

Be happy, God never said it was a sin!!!

Don’t judge. You don’t know everything about the other person’s life.

Accept everyone. Everyone just wants to be liked, Sometimes they don’t know how. They have to start somewhere and the fickle finger of fate just handed you the can!!

Have fun. Really now, can you honestly take your / this life seriously????

Be nice. In case you don’t know, someone out there thinks you’re nice / loves you even though you’re completely weird!!! There’s no accounting for taste, fortunately!!!

Don’t get mad. You are slightly mad now so why make things worse???

Remember that people aren’t logical. How may stupid things have you done today that you’re embarrassed to explain to anyone????

Don’t forget life is a mystery. Well, you have to spend your time doing / figuring out something. Fun can get booooring tooooo!!!

Don’t forget yesterday is memory so only remember the good parts. Someone tried very hard to do their very best, but still screwed up!!! You may have picked up their torch to hand to someone else!!!

Don’t forget today is Slices Of Now. You can do something nice / worthwhile if you hurry!!!

Don’t forget tomorrow is a mystery. It’s all statistical. Go look up some statistical jokes and you’ll get the picture!!!

Life Is A Mushroom

Life reminds me of a mushroom. I spend most of my time in the dark and clueless wondering about the world and my part in it. I don't have much formal education. I'm not very academic. Who knows, I might be an idiot. I don’t believe I’m worthless. My absence of any discernible talent must be an inspiration to others. Since I can’t get anything right my sole raison d’être is to function as a negative inspiration to others. I can just hear other people saying to their progeny, "Yeah, you may be useless, but there is hope because you’re not as bad as that smuck over there!!!" OPPs, the incoming alarm bell just went. Now where did I put my umbrella????? Another load of s**t is about to be dumped on me. Maybe I’m cleverer than I gave myself credit for????? There is hope after all!!!!!

Strange

Sometimes our environments become strange and in those environments we find ourselves doing things which require a talent or interest we never knew we had or particularly wanted or desired before being driven by a some wondrous event which had no right being in our life because we did nothing to earn it. Such is love!!!!

Conservation Of Energy

The Law Of Conservation Of Energy says that energy can never be destroyed, but is converted to something else. If this is true and there’s no reason to doubt it then it must also apply to life.

Therefore, my friends:

When something happens someone else gets it in the ear!!!!!!!

Such is the balance of life!!!!

Life’s Weird

I don’t know about you guys and gals but sometimes life is weird. Women are considered to be sensitive and men aren’t considered to be sensitive. Of course, nothing is 100%, so naturally a minority of women are insensitive and a minority of men are sensitive. As much as I hate to admit it, I’m sensitive in the sense that I can pick up impressions of people without asking them a lot of questions. If you are a sensitive man or woman sometimes you pass someone on the street, who you will never meet socially / casually again for reasons that may be evident and not so evident. At that moment in time you feel a great affinity for that individual and if the dice of life had rolled differently, you might have fallen in love, married them, and lived happily ever after. Yeah, I know I sound nuts, however, if it has ever happened to you, you know it’s true. If it hasn’t happened yet, then someday it might. I must also admit that I’m not terribly romantic even though I’m sensitive and definitely wouldn’t be caught dead reading a poetry book. The weird part is that while tooling through the Internet I came across a lady’s blog which she had devoted to poetry. One of her poems was a lament on a love affair that had gone sour. At that moment in time, I discovered that I have the ability to take someone else’s poem, and using their words with a few additions of my own completely rewrite it for another purpose and call it something else. I definitely don’t have the ability to write poetry from scratch so this may be the last one you will ever see from me. So here, my readers is a poem dedicated to all those times you stumble across momentary love.

Us

A glimpse of me

A glimpse of you

Nothing said

My silent moment

Your silent moment

Things I dreamt about

Suddenly unraveled

Suddenly spent

All beautiful scenes

Scenes of others

Gone

No flash

No drums

No thought

No regrets

Suddenly changed

He knows me

But I’m enigma

SurelyI cannot be explained

I cannot be known

Where heart ????

Now shown

Soul on fire

He, my desire

Too late

Now eternal

No others

Playfulness

Joy

Trust

Eternal belief

Lust

Desire

No longer alone

Literally

Hearts speak

One

Hearts embrace

No introduction

But One

Forever

Now

No doubt

No ponder

All love

Forever

Lovers

Most lovers exist in the top range of a good friend but don’t have the ability to cross over into long term, no matter what happens kind of love. Lovers, in the final analysis, are God’s gift to you. God either takes you across with that person or she doesn’t. That process is another example of being taken into God’s Substance Of Being. That’s why we imperfect creatures called men can’t understand why a woman who has more going for her than any man ever did or could in a month of Sundays, still loves the seemingly lesser person labeled "that" man no matter what. Of course, in reverse, that’s why a lot of people who start out in an essentially false love eventually discover when push comes to shove they are in a relationship’s version of the Titanic!!!!

Life’s Question

What is illusion and what is reality and how do you tell the difference?????

What Speaks ?????

Is your mouth speaking for your heart or is your heart speaking through your mouth????????

Sometimes

Sometimes someone magical just plops into your life out of the blue. You sit down and list millions of reasons why it shouldn’t happen, is completely illogical, not according to your private life plan, definitely dopey, stupid and anything else that says no or impossible but that magical someone just doesn’t disappear.

Prototypical Man

It seems to me that God who is a woman, enigmatic, and quite capable of getting her own way, designed man as a prototype for woman. Woman are perfect, but prototypical man has been left in the lurch.

Man, being God's prototype, on her way to designing woman now finds himself:

1. Giving up on women and watching sports on which he bets money, can’t win, can’t second guess and which drives him emotionally crazy.

2. Giving up on sports and studying women, who he will never understand either and which
will still drive him nuts ( see 1. )

3. Wondering if God has a "steady"???????

Male Rationalizing

It's funny, as in odd, how past ghosts seem to be all good in our minds, when in reality they weren't. I often dream of thus and so, and what it would have been like if God's dice had rolled differently. Mostly after dreaming and rationalizing, male style, I realize that there would just have been different problems in different directions.

Relatively Simple

It occurred to me the other day that God, in her wisdom, constructed this universe based on the number 3 to keep things relatively simple. There are lots of examples from simple lists to the more complicated stuff. Take creation for instance. It is generally thought that creation started with a big bang. So to keep it simple, we start with a super dense point / ball / particle. Perhaps it was a spinning point / ball / particle and one day for reasons best known to God, it simply peeled out in strips like an onion in various directions / dimensions creating space, time and gravity. So up to now we have a spinning point / ball / particle that transforms into a strip or a string and the spinning part becomes a vibration because it is a string / wave. The different vibrating waves with the residual point / ball / particle on either end creates stuff including us, living entities and things in general. This stuff which includes everything can be thought of a Frame. So once again we have 3 things, particles, waves, and frames. We have developed language / concepts to call particles, waves and frames different things so we don’t get all confused. Your and my vibrations are called charisma. Living entities such as animals etc. have characteristics which at its’ simplest are vibrations. Inanimate objects have properties which are simply vibrations. Time, Space, and Gravity are simply vast vibrating waves that give them their characteristics. You and I are surrounded by particles and vibrating waves and in order to be successful in life we must learn to influence / control these particles / people / living entities / events etc. by thinking positive thoughts. So life, my friends, at a quantum level, is relatively simple.
